R.N. Johnson, Inc. is a John Deere dealership located in Walpole, NH. Founded in 1929, the Company is one of the three or four oldest Deere dealerships in the world. The Company provides sales, parts and service for farm, commercial, light industrial and residential equipment. The large well-equipped repair facility currently employs fourteen people. However, sales and service demands require the addition of two technicians in the immediate future.
The successful applicant for the Service Manager position must possess a high degree of proficiency in maintenance and repair of diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, transmissions, have successful experience managing a staff of ten or more people, have excellent communication and customer service skills, and must be well-organized, detail oriented, computer savvy and capable of scheduling and juggling and balancing multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines. Specific experience in another John Deere dealership while beneficial is not a prerequisite.
Scheduling repair work, scheduling equipment set-up, preparing estimates, customer contact, scheduling trucking, technician supervision, managing work orders, managing service billing, manage warranty submission and tracking technician productivity and shop profitability.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience and a benefit package including health insurance, 401K, vacation and personal time and paid holidays is offered. Professional references required.
